You gotta watch that vintage thread - same as wool; it will get very brittle with age and there is nothing you can do about it. Just like us!
Fox : )Foxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12889386206601730189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4397429281804639598.post-27513621123414510102010-05-28T15:13:51.098-04:002010-05-28T15:13:51.098-04:00I'm glad you're feeling better. Their conditions are life long so they needed to be taught how to keep the problems under control so they could have a normal life. When the handicap is invisible, or manifests as a behavior problem, most people don't understand that a real physiological problem could be at the core. I got a degree so that I could understand the under lying problems and hopefully teach those I come in contact with a little bit.
The problem with your thread breaking may not be that it is vintage, or size 80-- I have had Lizbeth size 20 break as I closed rings or tightened lock joints. I have it happen much less often since getting some suggestions on InTatters, but sometimes it happens no matter how careful I am.Beelizabethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11108173518177888262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4397429281804639598.post-47210405658160350612010-05-31T12:32:26.455-04:002010-05-31T12:32:26.455-04:00Thank goodness I don't work with vintage threa...Thank goodness I don't work with vintage thread because I would probably be breaking it regularly! The Beading Gemhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10373750828368944711noreply@blogger.com
