Mail and UFO's

I had ordered a book off etsy awhile ago and forgot about it until it came in the mail today...

I currently have SEVERAL UFOS at my house no not the alien ones allthough sometimes I wander when it comes to how my kiddos act LOL
The first one MAY be a doily the other is something I didnt know I could do, I tried and tried and the 3rd time was the charm. Its possibly going to be a bookmarker. They are both unfinished.
Sorry i been so MIA lately just too much stuff going on with family and my sons appointments and aides coming for him... Today i had me a nice migraine or close to it until about 3 this afternoon so it was about a day and a half headache.
Well I hope to be in more often soon on a GOOD note my book is near completion.

Sorry you're going through so much bad stuff lately. Things will get better soon. They just have to! Cute motifs, especially the bookmark and I'm looking forward to seeing your new book.

I have that book. It's got gorgeous photos in it. Even if you never work a single pattern from it, I think it's worth the price for the photo gallery alone.

Your very clever and pretty bookmark perfectly fits the title of the "New Twist on Tatting" book, which shows artistic ways to decorate with tatting.

Back in the 1990s there was a resurgence of interest in Victorian things, including lace, and this magazine-quality publication could easily sit on a coffee table (and should). It has ideas on how to display old lace (as found in antique stores), and it was nice that Ms. Austin also included some patterns for tatters. As a photographer yourself, you'll enjoy the photos!

Let's see - raising two very active children, writing a book, plus all the other things you have to deal with. I can't imagine why you have headaches! Hope you're feeling better.
