motif #9, #10, #11 of my 3rd 25 motif challenge

#9 is another ruffled heart which is Victats Ruffled Heart design... done in size 10 thread in Bubble Gum colorway, which is not avaiable yet it was merely a test batch of a different dye technique.
#10 & #11 is PAPRIKA the DRAGON by MARTHA ESS I been wanting to make these for my kids as bookmarks and decided to do them. The pattern was so much easier than it looked at first. the one on the left is in bubble gum color size 10 thread with an extended tail in JK. The one on the right is my sons in my Vanilla Mint thread size 10 with an extended tail also done in the ruffle technique. I love these cute little dragons :)

#2 of my 3rd 25 motif challenge and a clue

This is part of the mystery as well. Its the same as the one in this post only with size 30 thread and down scaled, down sized whatever you want to call it. The thread is my hand dyed in Turquoise Violet the size 30 is gone already though... The pattern will NOT be available.......... y e t?! (could this be a clue of some sort?) Of course my beautiful model has claimed it I think it looks absolutely wonderful on her :)

That something awesome I spoke of....

That something awesome did turn out pretty awesome. Yes awesome is my word of the day, dunno why but it just is. I got my pressure cooker, cooking roast and it smells awesome too LOL

OK alot of my images on here and stuff I love to mess with PSP 7 (paint shop pro 7) years ago i had gotten a copy and was severely addicted this was before I learned to tat of course so its been a "few" years... Ok on to what I am speaking of... I love to kaleidascope images and one day messing about I had an image of tatting up and thought ehhhh what the heck, and you will not beleive HOW MANY ideas i got from just doing that with 1 photo. Well here is one of them.

I used my new HDT HARVEST TIME in size 20 when I dyed this thread I wasnt that impressed with it until I tatted with it I think it is just AWESOME hee hee

I plan on making more of this design and maybe putting them together for a doily or something else. this is my #1 motif of the 25 motif challenge (part 3)

Hope you all have an awesome day! Yep I am goofy now you all are starting to see this arent you HA HA

Butterfly Bookmark # 5 of 25 motif challenge

This was actually supposed to be something else but it turned into this pretty bookmark which is probably the 2nd ever bookmark I have tatted. My hdt called flower garden was used in size 20, this will be one of the next colorways I do this was a test one.
I think my shuttle tatting is looking better! I am back to work so my posting and tatting will be minimal for awhile.

The pattern for my bookmark is as follows.

25 motif challenge 13 of 25 part 2

My daughter happened to mention that the week of October 27th was red ribbon week at school... WELL I thought why dont I make some ribbons for their classes. I designed a few and didnt really like them I dont want them to be too complex as they are for 8 and 9 year olds. I used to in the past make for each holiday every child in their classes a pin and stuff. That got to be too much so in the last year I had stopped doing that and felt badly but you cant do all that suff all the time plus I was working at the time too last year.

Ok on to my design and pattern here LOL its so simple I didnt want it too georgous as I said I know my kids they will have it destroyed soon enough LOL
I have to make 50 of these so that is another reason I wanted it fairly simple LOL

Its made with a size 10 thread and a size 5 needle

This one came to me while thinking it was supposed to be alot different but its still pretty this way...

This is a pink tat for this month of October for Breast Cancer Awareness... I am not a fan of the color pink unless its for this cause. I think this turned good. It measures 5.75" x 5.75"

I had originally thought of selling this pattern and giving the money to a breast cancer fund but there are none in my area and was in fear of a scam from individual persons.
I used a size 10 thread and a size 5 needle
