25 Motif Challenge #22 & #23



Well I reverted back to my "old" ways with tatting YES I caved and went to the needle ONLY BECAUSE I wanted something different I have had an idea for this kind of necklace for awhile and REALLY REALLY wanted to tat it... This set took me about a total of 6 hours to complete its made with size 20 thread and seed beads.
Those of you shaking your head please know I am still using my shuttles I in fact have about 5 UFOs with shuttles attached :) LOL
Pattern for the necklace is as follows
R: 10 cl
CH: 20 dnr
*SCH: 6 / 6 (before re threading the needle add 3 beads and pull through)
Repeat * 9 more times (you will have 10 split chains total)
**SCH: 8 / 8 (before re threading the needle add 3 beads and pull through)
Repeat ** 9 more times (you will now have 20 split chains total)
SCH: 10 / 10 (before re threading the needle add 3 beads and pull through)
Repeat ** 10 more times (you will now have 31 split chains total)
Repeat * 9 more times (you will now have 40 split chains total)
SCH: 6 / 26 (before re threading the needle add 3 beads and pull through)
R: 10 cl
Cut Tie Hide Ends
Earring 1 add 3 beads on ball thread
R: 10 cl rw
SCH: 6 / 6 (before re threading the needle add 3 beads and pull through)
SCH: 6 / 6 (before re threading the needle add 3 beads and pull through)
SCH: 8 / 8 (before re threading the needle add 3 beads and pull through)
SCH: 8 / 8 (before re threading the needle add 3 beads and add the 3 from ball thread after you pull through)

25 motif challenge 9 of 25 part 2




This is just a very simple necklace in white with earrings to match. I used a size 10 thread and a 5 needle.
For the earrings

CH: 12 - 17 rw (when pulling the thread through do it loosely)

Tatted using a #30 thread and #8 needle with white thread and pink teardrop glass beads

Pattern is so simple to follow. Thread 7 teardrop beads or whatever bead you choose on to the ball thread.
R: 12 cl rw
*R: 5-5 cl rw
CH: 10+ @ p on ring rw
Rep * 20 more times (21 total)
**put a bead through the needle so no thread will show, tie a knot.
R: 5-5 cl rw
CH: 10+ @ p on ring rw
Do ** 5 more times
put a bead through the needle so no thread will show, tie a knot.
R: 12 cl rw
*R: 5-5 cl rw

25 motif challenge 6 of 25 part 2





This necklace got my husbands seal of approval he watched me work at it all day yesterday and he just loves is he told me I am NOT allowed to sell it that it looks too good on me ROFL. You can click the photos to get the fuller view the bead thing I used is a glass green rainbow gem with silver plating on the back, the sparkle is amazing on it. I got them at Michaels. The pattern for this will be coming soon also I dont have the time today to type it all out I got another necklace in the making and more tomatoes to can and my house looks like about 30 bombs went off UGH!

This is my Envy Set I used green semi-precious stone chip beads
#30 thread and #8 needle
Sorry no pattern as of yet I am still writing it down LOL
