#17 for the 25 motif challenge

This one I really LOVE I came up with it last night and finished it tonight when my sons behavior councellor was here it gave me about 2 hours of peace so I tatted :) I used a size 30 thread. 2 shuttles and the beads go on the core thread. The # of beads depends on how long you want this I tried to make a bracelet but its too big for that and too small for a necklace. So its just a sample piece. the pattern is there too attached I hope you can see it that is if you want to make
it you would probably see it better if you clicked on it for the larger view and saved it to your computer that way. I dont know if this would qualify as celtic??? I just assumed that if its twisted its celtic, can anyone clarify this for me??? Anywhoo enjoy if you want I really love this design and bear in mind also as a needle tatter for years my patterns are written as needle so usually where you see RW you may need to use the shoe lace trick...

#12, #13, #14, #15, #16 for the 25 motif challenge

The top 2 are the large and small mushroom done partially in the original design the bottom 2 are the changed one. The top had larger picots which to me just didnt sit right. the bery bottom one was done in size 30 thread with beads and I am not sure that I like it with all those beads on it but its done and my daughter wants it as a pendant so its hers lol I decided to go back in time to a design that I had done way back in January of 2005. I did find some mistakes in my pattern and changed a few things which the new one will be posted here now

Butterfly Bookmark # 5 of 25 motif challenge

This was actually supposed to be something else but it turned into this pretty bookmark which is probably the 2nd ever bookmark I have tatted. My hdt called flower garden was used in size 20, this will be one of the next colorways I do this was a test one.
I think my shuttle tatting is looking better! I am back to work so my posting and tatting will be minimal for awhile.

This is an awareness ribbon. Slightly differnt than we are used to. I was just fiddling around with some scrap thread from the doily and came up with this simple little beauty.

The pattern for this is really really simple it uses some split rings and well its all rings to be exact lol. I used a size 10 thread and a 5 tatting needle. and my dark pink thread.

This one came to me while thinking it was supposed to be alot different but its still pretty this way...

This is a pink tat for this month of October for Breast Cancer Awareness... I am not a fan of the color pink unless its for this cause. I think this turned good. It measures 5.75" x 5.75"

I had originally thought of selling this pattern and giving the money to a breast cancer fund but there are none in my area and was in fear of a scam from individual persons.
I used a size 10 thread and a size 5 needle

This I came up with yesterday while I was sitting outside, My husband was working on my truck and I was spending some time with him, while the kids were in school. :)
I dont even know what to tell you about the bead I was shopping in Big Lots the one day and they always have neat-o craft things and being the person that I am I love a good bargain and just plainly love crafting Items I have things I bought and never used yet lol
They had a bowl of beads for $2 so I took it upon myself to help the store reduce its inventory lol There were so many different kinds of beads in there glass beads, pony beads, seed beads, shiny beads, plastic beads etc... the bead used in the project is a lavender plastic teardrop shape, kind of reminds me of a pull for a ceiling fan.
Ok enough rambling on to the pattern lol
